My front step visitor...

This little guy was sitting on my front step tonight when I got home. He was sitting so still I almost stepped on him. I backed back down to the sidewalk and snapped a couple pictures, then his mom came down and fed him a worm. We kept an eye on him as it started to get dark, his mom came and the two of them hopped down to the neighbors yard and into his big cedar bushes. She got him to climb into the branches and we hope he will be safe for the night.

An awesome sheep felting class...

Thank you to everyone who came tonight...

I had a wonderful time and despite the heat (Barb made ice tea to cool us off) everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

The sheep that came to life were so fun. They all looked so different, it is amazing how a little different wool can change their looks!
Some even had names...

And everyone was finished up and off before the weather turned bad.

Thank you again...

Spring is on the way...

Life has been so hectic, but in the last few days the weather warmed up a little and all of a sudden I have a new inspiration, the urge to clean, renew and create things for the shop. Winter has been long and I feel sort of like I have been in hibernation too...
sweet spiced eggs in a primitive basket

petite easter baskets from peat pots...

grubby little chicks ( I see a hare has snuck in there, he-he)

many new penny mats, you'll love them...
It has been almost three years since I have made any major changes in the shop layout, and is way over due!!

Look for some changes soon...

We have expanded our wool crafts area and have moved in a much more primitive direction...

Projects that have been gathering dust and finally getting done and out...

Making room for new things...

Locking hoops now in three sizes...

Hand made rug hooks...

A few new kits...

Penny mats, all wool and all hand made...

Barn board spoon holders...

(Check out that grubby prim hare, looks like a sweet prim chick to me)

I was gifted the most wonderful antique army sleeping bag, quite worn and full of holes. It has a new life in the form of many beautiful penny rugs...

my muse, Poppy... (she is patiently waiting for me to finish)
Poppy says bed is calling...

I think she is right...
