Sheep taking shape fast...

Each sheep so different, reflecting their
makers personalities!

A new look...

The last week saw a lot of changes at the shop. 

Barb closed her tea shop and moved on to a new job 

so we have a whole new look.

A work in progress...

 a new coat of paint 

and the next project will be a new floor color, 

hopefully this weekend. 

It is all very exciting!

A spur of the moment...

Today we had a spur of the moment felting fun afternoon,

 and sheep and polar bears were on our list.

and so lifelike!!

A wonderful way to spend a snowy afternoon,
friends and felting!!

Rug Hooking in Soudan

Saturday was a wonderful day, the forecasted snow/rain went south of us and we had a fun day hooking. New projects were started, new colors experimented with and we had a wonderful demonstration of toothbrush weaving. Who would think you could weave with a toothbrush?? We maybe have a couple new hookers, anyway everyone had a good time. Thank you CoZ Sisters for your hospitality and wonderful bright comfy room to get together. We appreciate all your help with our event.

Looking forward...

I am so looking forward to this weekend up in Soudan! Getting together with friends to enjoy a relaxing break, meeting new people, rug hooking, eating, visiting, and more rug hooking...

Today was a quiet day and I spent some quality time with my dye pan, even though I have a good idea how the dyes will take, it is still always a bit of a surprise. Here are some of my creations...

I can just see this hooked up into fall leaves or trees!

And this one... I'm not sure,
way bright for my taste, but we'll see.
Maybe it will go back into the dye pan to
be toned down a bit.

Wishing for summer sunshine to speed drying...

 In my minds eye I can just imagine 
the beautiful colors in my dye pot tomorrow!!
