Last weekend... Duluth Junk Hunt

We had an awesome time at the Duluth Junk Hunt!! Found more treasures than we could carry, super nice vendors, delicious pumpkin ice cream and touched base with several old friends. Everyone has been asking me to let them know when the next hunt will be. Well mark your calendar for May 2nd and 3rd, 2014 and we'll see you there!! Click on the logo and it should take you right to their web page too! I found so many treasures, a green kitchen scale, an old doll buggy, and I scored an old embroidery thread cabinet for the shop - AWESOME!! Will post some pictures tomorrow plus a few new things in at the shop.

Wednesday Night Skeleton Class...

Wednesday night class was a hooked skeleton hanger, but we mixed it up with the hooked sunflowers on a board and a moon and star. I had a great time, lots of laughs, good food and some hooking too.

Rug School

Last week was so busy getting caught up after being gone a week at Arrowhead Hookcrafters Rug School. Krissy and I look forward to it all year and save and plan to go. I had so much fun this year, my teacher was Carrie Martin from New Orleans, LA. She was a hoot, we had a great time and learned so much. Guild members Kay  and Sandy work so hard all year to put on one of the best rug schools ever. They get the best teachers and work out all the details so everything goes together so smoothly you would think it was easy!!! THANK YOU - KAY AND SANDY!!

September 12th class rescheduled...

Sorry for any inconvenience, this class has to be rescheduled for Tuesday, September 17 due to the a time conflict. I am such an airhead I completely forgot I'll be at rug school that week and won't be at the shop. I've been so excited to go, trying to get everything set up that I didn't even think of the dates!!
